HIGH PERFORMANCE SEEDS, INC.

Gies Farms, Inc. is a 2nd & 3rd generation farm located in the Columbia Basin of Washington State, USA.  Our croplands have been intensively producing potatoes, cereals, and many vegetables seed crops for the past 50+ years.  Some 25 years ago, we realized that the tight rotations and reliance on harsh chemistry was literally taking the life out of our soils.  We tried many different green manure crops with little success until we stumbled upon an Italian research Institute breeding mustards to rebuild soil health and capture this naturally occurring chemical process they called "Bio-Fumigation".  These specifically bred bio-fumigant plants were then implemented into our potato rotations and the research work began!
